Our progress:
The storyline for video:
We will be combining real-life video and some illustration(such as brain, shadow lights, expressions, etc.) There’s a neon purple line (illustration) that leads Violet out of the depression/sadness to a place full of happiness…..
It was another gloomy day for Violet (her leg stepping on a water pool “sadly”) as she was walking back home feeling all alone and depressed. Violet has no friends or anyone to share her thoughts nor talk to. Even her parents are very busy with their own work life. Thus, they don’t get to spend any quality time with her. While she was having her deep thoughts through her journey back home, she came across a leaflet (maybe fly and fall to the ground). Violet kneels down to pick it up. Surprisingly, It was a leaflet on overcoming mental health issues among teenagers. She took it and rushed back home as fast as she could. Once she reached her home, she ran to her room and locked herself along with the leaflet as she was holding it in her hand. She hesitated to make the call at first and stared at the leaflet for a while.
(Zoom on the leaflet) It was about “ how to cope with mental stress”. While tears ran down her eyes, she noticed the slogan “YOU ARE NOT ALONE” and the helpline number as well. Without hesitation, she picked up her phone and began to dial. (zoom on the mobile phone that’s using DIGI) (show clock for time - fast forward 1 hour) Hours went by, and she looked relieved after her phone call. It was a moment of closure for her depression. At that moment she wiped off her tears and she had a smile on her face while facing towards her room window. (turning focus away from violet slowly and zoom towards sun)
(Next scene) (turning focus away from sun slowly and zoom towards violet and friends)
Installation artwork:
We are going to build the mock-up in Chloe’s empty room with a light purple wall. (but )
We are going to insert their story and feelings into the pieces, and also the signature’s of AWAM & DiGi, like using purple and yellow colour.
We will be putting some leaflets beside the installation, so after they write their stories on the installation, they can take the leaflet and contact AWAM.
Leaflet:
We will be having 4 points that we’ve shown in last week’s tutorial. We will be adding a front cover and the back for the leaflet is the hotline of AWAM. Besides, we are also going to insert this leaflet into our video and installation artwork

Feedback:
Video - to be placed on Social Media Platforms - 2mins - give more consideration to the first 5 secs of the video so that people will be enticed to watch it further - will be quite some workload so manage timing well
Installation - Secondary schools, but maybe in more common areas and different common locations around the school - to look as if its a campaign from school to school
Leaflet & Poster - ensure that the overall look and feel in terms of visual and moodboard is consistent throughout the entire campaign
Instant message stickers - Continue develop characters, and make sure people recognise them throughout your campaign, so use them in your leaflets and posters as well
