Type Experiment + 10 letter in AI

I started doing some tryout for my type brief. Before I started doing the tryout I had drew some sketch about the letter C, because I would like to confirm the size and the style of the letter. I was think the letter C was going to be 3D or 2D. After sketching, I decided to let it become 3D.

Then, I started drawing the word by using hand draw

However, I didn't really like it. So I tried to use AI to do another piece of design.

After drawing the word by using AI, I decided to use the clay to do the word. Just like what I had done in the Photoshop workshop last time. I make a the word, CITY by using clay, ad edit them by using Photoshop. Then I used AI to draw the others word and design.

After doing the try out, I decided to use the last piece of design as my final design. This was because mix media was more interesting and it looked more realistic than the other pieces of design.

For the 10 letters assignment, I had also drawn the letters in AI.

A, C, D/d, E, I, O, R, T, W, Y were be drawn. I knew that my digital drawing was not really good, but I tried to use brush to colour the word.
