Start sprinting? #2 (Week 12)

After the last tutorial, I have started putting the icon on my packaging design. Before that, I measure the size of the box, as well as the ratio of the data and icon. Then, I found that the ratio 1 icon represent 5% is suitable for the condom packaging design, and the ratio 1 icon represent 1% is suitable for underwear packaging design. After having the ratio, I start putting the icons in the design, so that I know how it look like.

I have show my lecturer the design after I put the icons in it. For the condom packaging is ok, but for the underwear packaging, I need to refine some part of it. For example, the spaces the icon have to be more consistent, especially the front part, so it can look nicer and interesting. And he also suggest me to change the colour for the packaging design since some of them is not so match with the icon.

For the product name, my lecturer told me that the name that I choose are still not under on category. Again, he suggest me to think about the characteristic of animal, so that I can more idea to create the name of the product.

For the brand name, I sketch some design as well as choose a name for it. However, I have chosen a Mandarin name for my product which is "物色" (WuSe). 物, is represent animal; 色, is represent sex. I'm very like this name. However, my lecturer told me that it will be weird if I suddenly have a Mandarin brand name in my design since all of my design is English. Therefore, I need to develop again.

Then, I have do some survey at the shop which near by my house, I would like to find some underwear which is suitable for my work. Because of CMCO, I cannot go so far, so I try to find the underwear at Econsive which near by my house. And I find a set of underwear which have different colour, and the colour is suitable for my work. However, this set of underwear do not have yellow colour, so I ask my lecturer to give me some suggestion. He suggest me to buy a white underwear to replace it, but there is no white underwear can be founded in the shop. I can only found apple green underwear that look like yellow in the shop. At the end, we decided to choose the apple green underwear to replace the yellow one.

That's what I had done for this week, I think I need to finish the underwear sewing this week as well, so that my project can be finished on time.
