This week, my lecturer asks us to think three potential ideas for our project. The final outcome of this project can be anything. The theme of this project is Science, Economic, Politic, and Society. The lens of this project is freedom, truth, individualism, collection, ownership, and ethics.

1) LGBT

When I saw the word “freedom”, the first word come into my mind is LGBT. As we all know, more and more people/countries start to pay attention on this topic scene last few years. In some countries, both male and female same-sex sexual activities and same-sexual marriage are legal. For example, same-sexual marriage was legalized on 29 May 2019. Before it was legalized, the Taiwanese were gone through demonstration as well as vote to help the country decide whether should OR shouldn’t legal same-sexual marriage. During that moment, many people tried to speak out their voices and opinions on this topic. For the older generation, most of them cannot accept the person who are LGBT because they think this is not natural. This cause the child who is LGBT fell stress to tell their parent that they actually are LGBT. Therefore, what I would like to focus on this topic is “Can you accept your child as a LGBT?”

2) Selfish OR Insecurity ?

Covid-19, as known as Conoravirus disease has been spread all over the world. I’m not going to talk about the virus but come let’s talk about what people did when this disease appeared. As we all know, we are under MCO period in Malaysia recently. Before MCO, we have about one day to prepare enough food and daily supplies. At first, I think Malaysian are unity and kind. However, what I saw was many selfish people, they tried to collect all the food as well as daily supplies. The market lack of some product because of this action. This cause some older man couldn’t have enough food or daily supplies during MCO period. For this topic, I would like to find out the reason of people collect stuffs even though it’s already enough. PS: why tissue paper so popular during this period yah?

3) Environmental protection

Many people began to pay attention on environmental protection topic, and there are many companies start to launch environmental-friendly product. For example, they will design some eco bags and thermos bottles. There are also some skincare brands that will recycle the bottle and allow customers to obtain rebate points. As a result, many people have been affected by this, and they have embarked on the road of environmental protection. They started to buy eco bags, steel straws, thermos bottles and so on. But how many people really remember to use it? From my experience, many people will forget to bring/use eco bags when they are shopping. For this topic, I’m curious that how many people will use the environmental-friendly product in their daily life.
