Tutorial (Week 6)

We have no class I this week, because this week is semester break. However, my friends and I have booked tutorial on Friday. In this week, I try find some LGBT groups on social media so I can survey them after I edit my google form. While I am editing my google form, I think about my focus group for my research and survey. Based on what I found before, the types of gay are different in Asian and Western culture. For this project, I think I will focus on Asian gay people as I am Asian people and Malaysia is an Asian country.

After doing research on Internet, I find some LGBT groups on Facebook, and I try to pm them. I ask for permission so that they can help me to put my google form in the group. There is one group reply me in this week. The admin tell me that, there are many Chinese people in the group, so he ask me to translate my google form in Chinese, so the group members can easy to read. After I edit the google form, I send him the link, and wait for response. Now, there are more than 250 people response for my google form.

Instead of doing survey, I also interview my friend during semester break. Actually the questions are similar with the survey question, but I get some different answer by doing interview. From what they tell me, cat and dog are the same categorise in gays types. Now, I just interview two people, I would like to interview more people in the next few days.
