Week 5 Progress

Since last week, my lecturer told me to come out with some content which cannot be found on the internet, I have changed my content direction. Looking back at my survey, I find out that there are many people who did not use rubber bands to make handcrafts before, and they did not see any artwork or design which was done by rubber bands. Therefore, I decide to come out with a book about doing exploration by using rubber bands. I can use rubber bands to create sculpture, artworks and so on. Then, I try to do some research on this topic. I come out with a mind map and write down all the exploration ideas on it.

The professional

This week, I have come out with some sketches for the logo design. I personally like the logo with pig illustration because I like pig very much. It is cute and CUTEEEEEE!!!!! Therefore, I try to draw the logo in digital drawing. Here are some photos and progress of my logo design. I draw the type font myself.

After the consultation, my lecturer told me that the word “e” cannot be seen clearly if I draw the illustration in it. He mentioned that I can put the logo in other places, such as put it on the top of my name, and so on. I can also try to reflect the type font when I am drawing the my name “elaine”.
