Week 6 Progress

This week, I have done my logo design, and I try to come out with some moodboard for my resume.

The Professional

Here is my first logo design, moodboard, and CV design

Feedback:

- those circle things you can't simply apply them there without reasons. Can't Just add something to add on as pattern etc

- the background colour blue is not practical to be used as CV / Cover letter background. However you can use more lighter blue

- For your logo, why do you repeat the 2 icons? one above and one in the A ? only use 1 is enough

- Also why is there a blue circle behind the pig? Not sure if you need it anymore.

- CV colour palette not good yet - too 'playful' i must say as of now

After having these feedback I try to refine my logo design and the colour palette for my resume.Here is my second try for the logo design:

I have changed the type font and also deleted the blue circle which is placed at the back of the character. Not only that, I have try to come out with some mood board with different colour pallete for the resume. Here are the moodboard that I have done:

I find out that I need to make the colour consistent with my logo, so I plan to use the pink and blue colour as my main colour when I am designing the resume. Then, I start designing my resume. I try to come out with some sketches and ideas before I draw the resume.

1. Normal Resume

The design is suitable for the online version. It just needs one page, and the information and logo can be seen clearly from the resume. The logo will be placed at the bottom, and the information will be right on the top.

2. Folded Resume 1

This is a printed resume version and it will be folded. The paper will be folded into three parts, the logo will be placed at the top. People will have the logo when the paper is folded, and the information will be shown when the paper is opened.

3. Folded Resume 2

This is another printed resume version. The paper will be folded into four parts. Same as the idea 2, people will see the logo when the resume is closed. They can see the information when the resume is opened.

At the end, I choose to use the third idea as my final idea. I started doing design for the resume. Here are the design for my resume:

This week, I have finished doing the exploration, and edited the photos. Since there are many photos and content, I try to separate the content into 5 categories, which is arts and designs, plants, animals, objects, and fashion. After editing the photos and separate the content, I start trying to arrange the content:

Some of the photos will be combine with animal photos or illustration, for example, the snake body and the horse tail.The horse tail is replaced by rubber band, and it combine with a horse photos:
