Today is LockDown Art Challenge PechaKucha submission day. Because there are too many group in this project, so our lecturers have separated us into two sessions. Group 1 until 6 are under Mr Kevin, and group 7 until 12 are under Mr Wayne. I am in group 8, so I am under Mr Wayne. After watching the videos by different groups, I can feel that everyone has put the effort in it. I can also learn something from the videos. For example, there are two groups using animation to present the information that they have researched about. I think this is a interesting way to attract the audiences attention. I also realise that our group can put more pictures in out slide, so our presentation can be lesser word and interesting.
I am glad that I can meet my group members through this project. They are nice, funny and also talkative. Before we started doing research for this project, we tried to get closer with each other by chatting on WhatsApp. Actually we did research on this Monday, because last weekend some of my group members and me have other group discussion. We did the group discussion by Microsoft Team. We made a voice call, and open a Google Slide.
Our topic is "Should we foster collaborative creative projects over design competition?" From what I had researched, I learned about the benefits of working collaboratively, and the benefit of working alone. I think everyone have their own opinion on this topic, someone like to work collaboratively, but someone like to be alone.
Our group may have another group discussion in the coming days. Before having group discussion, each of us have to think an idea for this topic. After that, maybe we will choose three ideas and further develop them.
Here is our PechaKucha video:
