Tutorial (Week 10)

After interim, I get some feedback from my classmate as well as my lecturer. I continue doing research and interview with my friends so that I could get more and more information. For this week, I would like to confirm my storyline and start working my story board.

Survey (Her Story)

Girl 21 year old

My friends’ parents got married when they were just 20+ years old.(Pregnancy before marriage) Relationship between her parents was not really good, because they were not mature enough when they got married. Unfortunately, her parents divorced when she was young, and her grandmother took care of her and her sister. Because of the economic storm, her grandmother had to sell all the house and the company. (Actually, they could be considered as a rich family before the economic storm) Actually, my friend is a person who really likes to study and she wanted to go to college after she graduated from secondary school. However, her family couldn’t handle the fees, so she could only go to work after graduating.

Storyline (Summary)

A child who came from a poor family, and he would like to attend university in the future. He was hardworking and his result was not bad. The opportunity to go to the university was big. This had made him become more and more hardworking. One day, he found out that his father had a mistress. He was and he didn’t tell his mother about it. This scene kept popping up in his mind, and he couldn’t focus on study anymore. He tried to stay up late and study. He felt stressed and started to escape from reality. He didn’t want to go to school as well as stay at home. His teacher noticed this and she would like to help this child. The teacher started helping him and told his parents about it. The mother showed love and care to the child. The child knew that he had to change and focus on his studies. At the end of the story, the child achieved his goal, and got a good result.

Research

I have also found some examples about layout on Internet. From the research, I learn bout how do arrange the photo accordingly. These examples help me a lot when I start drawing the story board. This is because I am able to use what I learn and make use of them in my photo novel.
