Week 2 - Progress

This week, I already done the interview with my friend. The interview carry out through WhatsApp. I send the question to my friends before the interview so that he have time to prepare for the answer.

The question for interview:

Since I know you when we were studying in secondary school, I knew that you are a person who is very introvert and do not like to talk with others, so …

1. May I know what is the reason make you do not really like to talk or communicate with others?

EAOT

I decided to choose the rubebr band as the one thing for my EAOT project. I try to research some related information or article for it. I have come out with an mindmap after doing research.

I have research about the background of rubberband, and also how poeple use rubber band in daily life. After having these information, I started to think about the content that I would like to do for the book.

The Professional

To start doing this project, I try to come out with a few mindmap.

1. My Characteristics

I try to think about my chracteristics before I draw the logo. I write down about the negative and positive characteristics.

2. My Interest in Graphic Design

I have also think about my interest in graphic deign. I find out that I prefer drawing illustration apart from other works.

After having these mindmap, I strat thinking some ideas for my logo. I prefer to do illustration as my logo rather than use the typo do create a logo. This is becasue I would like to show my audiences that I like to draw illustration. Not only that, I would like draw a cute logo or icon as my logo because my drawing style is cute.

I have also research about the gestalt theory before drawing the logo. This can help my have more idea while drawing the logo. Then, I start to do some sketches for my logo. My nickname is "Elaine", so I decide to include the word "e" in my logo to represent my name. No only that, the shape of "e" looks like circle, and it somehow can represent a clock. A clock can represent me is a person who is good in time management. The top part of the "e" looks like a window, so I try to draw a character inside to represent myself is a introvert peoson, I like to be alone to protect myself.
